The Atlantic Ocean provides the backdrop for this spacious reversed level stone property, set just half a mile from the Pendeen Watch lighthouse. Walks are plentiful at this amazing secluded detached coastal retreat, located at the end of a lane bordering farmland and a footpath down to sandy Portheras Cove. The stylish contemporary cottage will delight guests whether you are looking for a special place for a family gathering, or simply a special place. The four striking bedrooms, two of which are en suite, are on the ground floor along with a luxurious family bathroom with wet-room shower. Stairs lead up to a fabulous sitting-room which boasts a roaring wood-burner, a Juliet balcony and spectacular sea views. Across the landing is a stunning bespoke kitchen/diner, which leads to a decked balcony (please take care) overlooking the coast. Throughout the cottage large picture windows light up each room making the most of the amazing sea views. The garden, which includes a panoramic glass conservatory, and a large paddock are ideal for family games and barbecues, perhaps enjoying local produce from the nearby store or one of the many farmers’ markets in the area. The views from this cottage are second to none and the stunning interior is comfortable and welcoming whatever the season. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
