Semi-detached Butterchurn, part of a lovely 17th Century farm, is reached by steps from the parking-area and has a delightful enclosed garden. The spacious living/dining-room has an ornamental fireplace, a large pine table and French doors opening onto the patio and terraced garden. The sitting-room has beamed ceilings, slate floors, comfortable sofas, and a cosy wood-burner. Steep stairs (take care with children) lead to the pretty bedrooms which boast glorious views. The neighbouring Owners breed pedigree South Devon and Highland cattle and farm 90 acres. The lower garden is set aside for playing games and guests have use of a trampoline. A gate leads to a fenced lake (take care with children), perfect to relax and watch the ducks dabble as dragonflies dart past the bobbing heads of the pet carp. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
