This lovely 17th Century farm is set in a sheltered valley, close to the north Cornwall coast with its superb cliff walks and beaches. The cottages, reached by steps from the parking-area, both have delightful enclosed gardens and provide an idyll of peace and birdsong. Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow and Bude are all within a short drive should you get bored of the open countryside or the space offered to guests on site. The Owners breed pedigree South Devon and Highland cattle and farm 90 acres of rolling fields and peaceful woodland, providing a haven for wildlife with occasional sightings of red deer. The lower garden is set aside for playing games and guests have use of a trampoline. A gate leads to a fenced lake (please take care with children), perfect to relax and watch the ducks dabble as dragonflies dart past.

Butterchurn, the larger of the two cottages, with two en suite shower-rooms and a family bathroom, is a perfect retreat after a busy day exploring. The sunny and spacious living/dining-room has an ornamental fireplace, a large pine table and French doors opening out to the patio and terraced gardens. The sitting-room has beamed ceilings, slate floors, comfortable sofas, and an inglenook fireplace with a cosy wood-burner. Steep stairs (please take care with children) lead to the pretty bedrooms which boast glorious views. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot.
