Maenporth Estate is a contemporary development of holiday cottages set in 29 acres of beautifully landscaped communal grounds on the hill above sandy Maenporth cove. Camellia Cottage is one of the Estate’s most spacious properties, offering high quality accommodation and all the comforts of home. This south-facing, end of terrace cottage is 20 shallow steps down from the parking-area, although a garden path provides easier access for pushchairs and the less mobile. The light-filled sitting/dining-room has large sofas, doors to the patio and garden, and a wide archway through to the fully equipped kitchen. There is a shower-room on this floor together with an en suite shower-room and family bathroom upstairs. It’s a short stroll to the Leisure Centre, with its heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, table-tennis and pool tables all free for guests to use. A communal barbecue-area, two all-weather tennis courts and a children’s play-area are situated outside. The family-friendly beach is just down the steep hill and renowned gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah are a couple of miles to the west, with the famous Falmouth beaches and watersports facilities slightly closer to the east.
