Knights Barton is much more than a holiday cottage – it is a top quality, deceptively spacious home-from-home in a peaceful and private setting. The cottage has been designed to make the most of the rural views, facing away from the main farmyard and Owners’ farmhouse, with a beautifully planted enclosed courtyard garden at the front and a ‘secret’ sunken terrace which catches the afternoon sun. The cottage has a large friendly farmhouse style kitchen with an Aga (not available June to September), cosy under-floor heating downstairs, a welcoming sitting-room with a wood-burner and a large conservatory/garden-room for relaxed dining. The village of Halse is one of the prettiest in this part of Somerset and you can stroll down the cottage’s separate access track to the renowned pub in the heart of the village in just five minutes. This is an ideal base for exploring Exmoor, the Quantock Hills and the north Somerset coast and the Somerset Levels.
