DescriptionOnce upon a time The Magazine was the dynamite store for the Lamorna quarry; it is now a cosy clifftop retreat. There are stunning views come rain or shine from this detached cottage, set into the side of the cliff leading down to Lamorna Harbour. The steep 100 yard uphill walk from the private parking space is well worth the effort to reach the path to the cottage. A stable door gives access to the modern well-equipped kitchen, which opens into the sitting/dining-room – you will delight in the views through the large, south-facing picture windows and the warming electric fire which will provide a glow on cooler days. A spiral staircase (please take care) leads up to the stylish bathroom and two comfortable double bedrooms, one of which boasts a balcony with the very best view, an ideal place to enjoy a morning cuppa. Outside The Magazine, numerous garden terraces provide the perfect vantage point to watch the tides and shipping lanes – you can set your watches to the Scillonian as it makes its daily sailing from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly.
