Heather Cottage is a large eclectic, detached property set within extensive private grounds with a shallow tributary of the Red River running adjacent (please take care with children). In the garden, there is space for children to let off steam and, being totally secluded, ample peace and quiet for those seeking relaxation. Just a short drive through countryside leads to Marazion and St Michael’s Mount in one direction and St Ives in the other. Enter the property into the welcoming kitchen/diner; this houses a warming Aga and a large farmhouse table, perfect for family gatherings recounting the day’s adventures. The huge sitting-room is warmed by a roaring wood-burner and is home to a small pool table for hours of fun. Also on this floor is the study with a broadband connection, as well as an electric piano. Stairs lead up to the first floor landing and the three comfortable bedrooms including one with a super-king bed and en suite, one a family room with ‘zip and link’ (double or twin) beds and a single bed, and a family bathroom. Heather Cottage is the perfect riverside retreat.
