On the sheltered east side of the Lizard peninsula, just south of the Helford River’s meandering creeks and beautiful woodland scenery, Treleague Cottage nestles peacefully at the top of Porthallow valley enjoying wonderful countryside views from the garden down towards Falmouth Bay glistening in the distance. This welcoming, cosy little single-storey retreat lies half a mile from St Keverne’s village shop, organic restaurant and two pubs, and a mile from Porthallow’s dog-friendly shingle beach; the spectacular coastal footpath is also nearby. Ideal for a couple or young family, Treleague Cottage was originally a barn attached to an 18th Century hayloft, now the Owners’ home. Steps from the parking-area lead down to the front door, which opens into a spacious living-room with comfortable sofas at one end, a well-equipped kitchen at the other, and French doors opening onto the patio and enclosed garden. The beautifully furnished double bedroom has a generous king-size bed, with the snug bunk bedroom opposite and pretty shower-room next door.
