Description

The Forge is a semi-detached wooden-framed barn conversion, set within a complex of four other holiday cottages, including The Dairy (2254) and Woodlands View (2255), in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Rolling countryside and fabulous walks, such as the Jubilee Trail and Wessex Ridgeway, are literally on your doorstep. A coarse fishing lake with carp within the grounds provides the setting for a picnic on the shores (please supervise children at all times). A stylish open plan living-room with kitchen and dining areas gives access to a balcony, furnished with a small table and chairs, a place to enjoy al fresco eating whilst admiring the far reaching views. Stairs lead up to the modern bathroom and comfortable bedroom which also enjoys lovely views. An oil-fired stove in the sitting-area will provide a warming glow on out-of-season evenings after a day exploring this amazing area. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
