With far reaching sea views, an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub (available all year, heated from the beginning of June to the end of September – please take care) Blue Horizon offers an idyllic holiday base. Semi-detached from the Owners’ home and set above the sailing town of Fowey, this stunning single-storey apartment is accessed from the sun-trap courtyard where the pool and hot tub (occasionally used by the Owners) are flanked by exotic palms. The contemporary interior is decorated with superb attention to detail, a perfect foil for the transfixing view of the Fowey estuary below and Polruan village opposite. Patio doors from the sitting-room make the most of the view and the terrace outside is ideal for watching boats coming and going from the harbour. The spacious bedroom shares this wonderful vista while the well-equipped kitchen/diner looks out over the parking-area to a landscape of fields and trees. The centre of Fowey is a short walk, with steep, narrow streets and a host of intriguing shops, restaurants and tea-rooms. The Bodinnick car ferry crosses the river to Polperro and Looe further east, while the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens beckon to the west.
