Light, spacious and lovingly restored, this delightful house is part of a Georgian terrace set above Falmouth’s town centre and enjoying far reaching views over the Penryn River and Carrick Roads seaway towards the Roseland Peninsula in the distance. Three of the bedrooms and the elegant drawing-room enjoy these captivating views, whilst the sitting-room at the rear of the house has French doors out to secluded, sun-trap patio-areas, ideal for relaxed outdoor eating. Spread over three floors, with plenty of room for families and groups of friends to unwind, Clare Terrace is within walking distance of the diverse mix of pubs, bars, restaurants and shops this lively town has to offer. All types of watersports can be enjoyed, including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and canoeing. The less watery-minded may like to explore the renowned gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan on the beautiful Helford River, or take a ferry trip from the nearby Prince of Wales pier to either the Cathedral City of Truro, the fishing village of Flushing or the sailing town of St Mawes. Youngsters will love the sandy beaches at Gyllingvase and Maenporth, while the surfing beaches and dramatic cliff walks of the north coast will appeal to the more adventurous. Best of all will be returning to this welcoming home-from-home after action-packed days, to relax in comfort, share leisurely meals or potter in the kitchen warmed by an Aga (available mid-September to mid-June). A baby up to six months old is welcome. *A cot is not provided, please bring your own travel cot. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
