Piers and Lisa Guy offer their carbon neutral holiday cottage, Nancy’s House, on their wind-powered organic farm. There are stunning walks from the doorstep; beautiful and secluded Portheras beach is a 30 minute walk whilst, in another direction, is Woon Gumpus moor, prehistoric Chun Quoit and Iron Age Chun Castle. The renowned Gurnard’s Head pub is a short drive with three further pubs in the nearby village. Nancy’s House is light and airy with a pretty fruit and herb planted courtyard including a small watercress pond (please take care with children). The entrance hall leads to the bathroom and well-equipped kitchen/diner. The naturally lit sitting-room is a delight for artists, and a beautiful wood-burner makes evenings cosy. The bedroom is beamed, overlooks the gardens, and has a cot for babies under six months. Organic farm produce can be purchased, and collection from Penzance station can be arranged.
