Lower Bephillick Cottage is a lovely stone-built cottage close to the little village of Duloe and just four miles from the fishing harbour, beaches and clifftop walks of Looe. There is a large enclosed garden and plenty of parking, plus a three acre meadow for children's games. Herodsfoot Woods are on the doorstep with bike trails and footpaths to explore. The big open plan living-room has a wood-burner, French doors to a sunny patio and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen. With a bath or shower room for each bedroom the cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends, while wheelchair access and a downstairs bedroom and wet-room also make it perfect for anyone with limited mobility.
Lower Bephillick Cottage is extremely well appointed and, in addition to the ground floor bedroom and wet-room, the two first floor bedrooms have their own en suite facilities. There are views across the meadow towards the Forestry Commission's Herodsfoot Woods, where deer roam freely and there are plenty of well-kept footpaths to walk or cycle. The fishing port of Looe is just minutes away, with plenty to explore and shark fishing trips on offer too. Slightly further is the ancient smugglers' haunt of Polperro, a truly picturesque village with narrow streets, terraced fishermen's cottages and a tiny harbour sheltering a small fishing fleet. The sailing town of Fowey is another pretty place to explore, with great eating places and art galleries to browse, while garden enthusiasts and walkers will love Lanhydrock, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and Mount Edgcumbe. Lovely beaches at Talland Bay and Whitsand Bay are great for swimming, sunbathing and sandcastle-building, with boat and surfboard hire available at Downderry.
