This spacious New England style house is set within two acres of beautiful enclosed landscaped gardens, surrounded by woodland beside a quiet public path to the beach at Carbis Bay, where azure blue sea and white sand await. Recently refurbished, April Cottage is a stunning property, ideal for memorable family holidays. Will it be the sunken sitting-room, the sea views from the master bedroom’s balcony, or the light and roomy kitchen/dining-room with views across the gardens towards the ocean that tempt you to this wonderful place? Steps lead down into the sitting-room, where a cosy multi-burner provides warmth and a Blu-ray DVD player and television provide entertainment. French windows open out to the garden where further steep steps approach the decked terrace and lawns. A large teak table, chairs and views to the sea in the distance make this perfect for al fresco dining, whilst inside the bespoke kitchen/dining-room is fully fitted with wood worktops and a central island unit close to the warming Aga. Three of the four bedrooms (one of which has a Nintendo Wii) and a bathroom are on the first floor, whilst the remaining bedroom, which offers a piano, and a shower-room are on the ground floor. Please note that guests at nearby Tintin Cottage (1870) have access to a parking space at the bottom of the drive. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
