Pleasantly situated in a farm location, a couple of miles from the village of Bradworthy, The Calf Barn (graded four stars by VisitEngland) is ideally placed for most holiday needs. The Tamar Lakes nearby offer bird watching, fishing and watersports (the Owners, who live at the end of the drive, can provide full details). Several gorgeous beaches are close and Bude is about a half-hour drive. This single-storey barn conversion has a stylishly furnished open plan living-room. There is a well-equipped kitchen/dining-area and both bedrooms are en suite, making this ideal for couples or a small family. Although not a working farm, there are grazing sheep and cows on the surrounding 100 acres which guests can explore. There is a large lawned area opposite the cottage for guests’ use – just right for that summer’s evening barbecue. The north coast is spectacular and nearby Bude offers all the delights of a seaside town. Why not try your hand at surfing? Or for the more sedate, just sit out in the garden of this lovely cottage and enjoy the peace and quiet.
