The pretty seaside village of Charmouth is within walking distance of Copper Beech Cottage, which is located a quarter of a mile up the lane to the National Trust’s Golden Cap Estate. The detached cottage is approached by a steep driveway and has been stylishly refurbished to provide a comfortable base for exploring the Jurassic coastline and picturesque corners of west Dorset (see photograph), east Devon and south Somerset.
