Hayescott, a special find destined to become the backdrop to many memorable holidays, was once the home of the schoolmaster at the neighbouring Old College, now owned by the Landmark Trust. Set in the centre of Week St Mary, beautiful 16th Century granite and stone Hayescott House has been restored to an exceptionally high standard, together with Pennacott, a modern cottage within the same grounds, although each benefits from its own garden. The village boasts a pub and shop, and the beach at Widemouth Bay is only a few miles away. Ideal for walkers, surfers and historians alike, Hayescott offers tradition, convenience and style in a great location with easy access for exploring the north coast.

Delightful, single-storey Pennacott provides spacious accommodation for two, with spectacular countryside views from the French doors which open onto the patio and enclosed garden. Exposed trusses add height and light to the contemporary open plan living-room and bedroom-area, with its cosy wood-burner and stylish kitchen-area. The bedroom-area offers the flexibility of twin beds or a double. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.

Open plan living-room with kitchen, dining and bedroom areas. TV, DVD player, CD and tape player and wood-burner. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. ‘Zip and link’ (double or twin) beds. Utility-room with washing machine/drier. Bathroom with bath, fitted shower, WC and wash-basin.
