Description

The Bowjey is a short walk up the lane from the spectacular Cape Cornwall peninsula, Priest’s Cove and the bustling village of St Just, and the fabulous beach at Sennen is just a short drive away. This semi-detached, single-storey barn conversion is delightful, with stripped wooden floors, pine furniture and white painted stone walls throughout. Guests enter into a well-equipped kitchen/diner, where a large farmhouse-style table is ideal for family gatherings after a busy day walking the cliffs or visiting the beaches and coves nearby. A multi-burner warms the comfortable sitting-room and adjoining snug, which has views to the sea and wireless broadband access. The bedrooms are furnished with pine and pretty soft furnishings. Outside, the little front garden is a sun-trap and to the rear is an enclosed courtyard. Close by, the Cape Cornwall Golf and Country Club offers the use of an indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness-room and bar (at cost), providing an alternative to exploring the abundant sandy beaches and art galleries along this dramatic coastline. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
