Once a calf barn belonging to neighbouring Ninnis Farmhouse (995), this delightful detached property has been lovingly restored with enormous attention to detail. The interior is beautifully fitted, offering exceptionally comfortable, partially reversed accommodation. The large sitting-room has exposed beams, a high ceiling, windows on three sides and a wood-burner for cooler evenings, perfect for relaxing after a day spent visiting the nearby sandy beaches at Porthpean and Pentewan, the fishing port of Mevagissey or the glories of the Eden Project and Heligan Gardens. Double and twin bedrooms downstairs share the family bathroom, while upstairs the second double bedroom has an en suite shower-room. The large kitchen leads to a separate dining-room, perfect for family meals. A private garden and an enclosed deck accessed from both ground floor bedrooms and the kitchen offer plenty of space for children’s games and al fresco dining. With the north coast surfing beaches and the sailing waters of Falmouth less than an hour away by car, Maggie’s Barn is perfectly placed for exploring this lovely area of Cornwall. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 11am on departure.
