Close to Falmouth, The Old Post Office has been lovingly restored to provide an inviting base from which to explore the nearby rivers, gardens and both coasts. The heart of this semi-detached house is the kitchen/sitting-room, accessed down steps through a low doorway (mind your heads), where the oil-fired Alpha range (the main cooking appliance supplemented by a microwave) and a wood-burner keep the house cosy. There is a separate dining-room, another sitting-room and a sun-room leading out to a deck area. The first floor, accessed via two separate staircases, offers a master bedroom with en suite shower-room and views towards the Helford River. Another double has an en suite bathroom (also accessed from hall), again approached by two steep steps through a low doorway. A double and twin bedroom share a shower-room, and there is also a light, airy single room. Outside there is a large enclosed rear garden and space for a dinghy. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
