This pretty single-storey cottage, set in the grounds of the Owners’ home yet completely private and with a lovely garden and off-road parking, is an ideal base for exploring Somerset, the Blackdown Hills and the beautiful east Devon and west Dorset Jurassic Coast. Honey Cottage is in the centre of the little village of Buckland St Mary, across the square from the church. The bells still chime as they have done over the centuries, as part of village life. Inside there is an open plan living-area with the kitchen along one side, a high beamed ceiling and French doors leading to a secluded patio that captures the sun for much of the day. You can sit here very privately and yet feel a part of the day to day activity of the village. With two bedrooms, one with an en suite cloakroom, offering excellent flexibility, this cottage is an equally good base for either two or four guests and is available on this basis at all times. The lower price band applies for parties of 2 or less.
