Right on the water’s edge, close to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the views from Harbour House (see photograph) and its five balconies are stunning. A good range of shops, restaurants and pubs are a short walk away beyond the security gates of the estate, which has its own marina. This three-storey broadband-enabled terraced house has four bedrooms and three bath/shower-rooms, all decorated in shades of the sea. The spacious ground floor twin room has French windows onto the quay (please take care with toddlers) and an en suite bathroom. The oak-floored living-room on the first floor is beautifully furnished, with cream sofas, modern furniture and two balconies with wonderful harbour views. The well-fitted kitchen/breakfast-room is hand-built with a large American fridge/freezer, glass and brushed aluminium finishes and French windows onto another balcony. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a small basket balcony and an en suite shower-room. Another double and a smaller single room share a large family bathroom. Guests should note that for larger parties, Lock House (1769) is next door and that regrettably trailers, vans and caravans are not permitted in the parking-area.
