Deep in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside in the village of Hazelbury Bryan, Wazwatt’s Cottage is set back from the road and provides a perfect base from which to explore this wonderful county. Bulbarrow Hill, the highest point in Dorset and an ideal picnic spot with panoramic views, is a stone’s throw away. The interior of the cottage is full of character; in the sitting-room leather sofas flank the coal-effect gas stove, and along the corridor the welcoming dining-room and conservatory look out across the enclosed garden. Two of the three bedrooms are on the first floor whilst the third is on the second floor; this room is ideal for children due to the restricted headroom (tall guests beware!). The greatest delight is the outdoor heated swimming pool (available from 27 April to 21 September), which will provide hours of entertainment for all (please supervise children at all times). Wazwatt’s Cottage is a charming semi-detached cottage, the perfect holiday retreat for families and friends. There is a lovely new village shop, The Red Barn, for locally produced treats. The second cot is a travel cot. The lower price band applies from 1 January to 24 April and from 3 October to 14 December. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 10am on departure.
