A pretty, sensitively converted former barn set in beautiful countryside, a short drive from St Ives and the north coast’s glorious long sandy beaches or Marazion’s famous St Michael’s Mount to the south, this delightful detached stone cottage shares its peaceful location at the end of a quiet farm drive with Penberthy Barn (1519). Ducks and chickens roam freely around the gravelled courtyard and attractive pond (take care with children), overlooked by Orchard Barn’s small enclosed front deck. The cottage has wireless broadband, an enclosed private back garden with plenty of space for children to play, and shared use of the hard surface tennis court. Stone steps lead to the entrance, opening straight into the first floor open plan living-room with its fresh decor, lime-washed wooden floors, open painted beams, comfortable sofas and cosy wood-burner. Stairs lead to two ground floor bedrooms, each with their own bathroom or shower-room. The cottage shares a private water supply, regularly tested.
