The open fire is the warming focal point of the room.The sitting-room looks out over the enclosed garden to the front of the cottage.The kitchen/dining-room is a real family space, with a sofa, books and toys for children.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed and is at the front of the cottage.Bedroom 2 has 'zip and link' (double or twin) beds.The bedrooms are all prettily decorated.
 
Bedroom 3 has a single bed and ample room for the travel cot.Bedroom 4 has a single bed.Looking through the gate opposite the entrance to Bay Tree Farmhouse, into the Owners' garden (which guests are welcome to use).
 
The garden is awash with colour in spring and early summer.There is a small pond in the garden opposite the farmhouse so please take care with children.The lovely grounds.
 
Mevagissey is a working fishing harbour, an easy drive from the farmhouse.Caerhays (Porthluney) beach is popular with families and less than half an hour away by car.Par Sands is half an hour away, perfect for dog walking.
 

This homely and welcoming farmhouse is found down a private lane with only the friendly but unobtrusive Owners as neighbours. The tranquility of the setting is enhanced by lovely countryside views and an enclosed, south-facing garden, together with a large, beautifully landscaped part of the Owners’ garden, totally separate from their own, which guests are invited to use (please take care with children around the pond and stream). Lovely walks are plentiful, including a private lane to the Iron Age hill fort Resugga Castle, which guests can explore (crops permitting). Inside Bay Tree Farmhouse the large kitchen/dining-room, with its warming oil-fired Rayburn, comfortable sofa and children’s toys, is the hub of the house, or you can relax in front of an open fire in the cosy sitting-room. Families and children are very well provided for, as are your canine friends. Easy access to good roads makes exploring simple, with the fishing village of Mevagissey, the Eden Project, Heligan Gardens and the surfing beaches of Newquay all within a few miles.
