Butterwell House to the left and Butterwell Cottage to the right.

Part of a large, traditional country house, Butterwell is the perfect place for family gatherings, celebrations and out-of-season escapes. Both properties, although joined, have their own entrances and private, enclosed gardens, so can easily be used together or independently. Butterwell House is extremely spacious with high ceilings and light rooms, while little Butterwell Cottage offers cosy, open plan accommodation for couples. The front lawns include a sturdy timber-built play-area, ideal for children. The welcoming Owners live next door and farm livestock and arable crops on the surrounding 470 acres. The fishing port of Looe and the sailing waters of Fowey are nearby, and the scenic coastal path is easily accessible. Beautiful gardens at Lanhydrock, Heligan and Mount Edgcumbe will appeal to gardeners and walkers, and the Eden Project provides a memorable day out.
