On a hill outside Colyton, Robin’s View enjoys panoramic views of the Axe valley. This semi-detached cottage is set in a row of other holiday cottages, Sceat Cottage (1246) and Poundhouse Cottage (1248). Approached by steps, the cottage has a spacious open plan kitchen/diner, comfortable sofas and bright rugs that flank the wood-burner in the sitting-room. Upstairs, both the double bedroom, with its en suite shower-room, and the twin bedroom also have wonderful views. The picturesque villages of Beer and Branscombe are a short drive away and the National Trust’s Shute Barton (limited opening) is just down the road. Honiton, renowned for antique shops, is nearby, and there are three golf courses within easy distance as well as superb countryside. The cottage has a private rear garden, perfect for al fresco dining, and a front terrace with steps sloping down to a grassy area bordered by a shallow stream; this tends to run dry in summer, but please take care with children. Please note that the changeover times are 4pm on arrival and 11am on departure.
