This attractive, detached cottage is situated on an organic farm in rolling countryside close to the quiet hamlet of Coombe, within easy driving distance of both coasts. The National Trust beaches of Hemmick and Caerhays, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Eden Project and the fishing village of Mevagissey are nearby. The cottage retains a sense of its farming history with open-fronted barns alongside, forming a sheltered garden, and guests are welcome (stock permitting) to explore the Owners’ surrounding fields. A farm trail through the field and five acre wood to a lake (please take care with children) makes an enjoyable walk. The reversed accommodation is decorated in bright, cheerful colours. The main bedroom has a spacious en suite bathroom whilst the two single bedrooms, decorated with co-ordinating furnishings, share a shower-room. Upstairs, the well-equipped kitchen/diner is striking with a polished wooden floor, pine furniture and French doors opening onto a wooden bridge (please take care as there is a drop) leading to the terraced rear garden. The sitting-room is warm and cosy with colourful rugs and a welcoming multi-burner. Please note this property has a private water supply (tested regularly).
