Loved the cottage and the location, would definitely come again

Lovely property on a quiet road just outside Portscatho, (which is barely a ten minute walk away, downhill) . The bedrooms are spacious, although the first floor bedroom does have restricted headroom, and we bumped our heads more than once. Everything is fresh and new. Very comfortable beds. The main living area is fabulous and even in poor weather it felt bright and airy. The garden is lovely and wonderful for small children. Porthcurnick beach is also a short walk away, under fifteen minutes, and Towan beach, with its National Trust tearoom took us about an hour of rambling along the coast path...it is an easy level walk. The Standard Inn, just along the road from the prpperty ,serves delicious food, and we also had a great meal in The Plume of Feathers down in Portscatho. The village shop is amazing and stocks everything you could possibly need. September cottage is a lovely place to spend a quiet holiday....

Very well equipped lovely garden

Enjoyed our holiday very much at Easter in September Cottage: the first rate new kitchen, very well equipped; lovely light and spacious living dining cooking space with great outlook on the garden; very comfortable beds and top quality furniture. We walked to beaches from the door, whatever the weather! The village is our favourite destination in Cornwall. We cannot recommend highly enough staying here. ...

Beautifully refurbished property in an ideal location for exploring the Roseland Peninsula. Just outside Portscatho - if you walk down it’s a long climb back a steep hill. Several lovely beaches within walking distance, and many more a short drive away. The Plume of Feathers is good for food but essential to book. We also visited Trelissick (NT) and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The latter is ideal for both ‘gardeners’ and children as there’s lots to see and do there. We had a day out in Truro (in the rain!) on the local bus - lots of shops, restaurants, and the cathedral. So much more to see and do a week is not long enough, and we plan to come back next year . We were a multigenerational family and found everything here we needed....
