Rosemary Cottage

We stayed here over the Queens Jubilee last year and we had the best week ever. The house itself is lovely, it was very clean upon arrival, very homely with great facilities and nicely decorated. We also bought our spaniel and the house was perfectly dog friendly with a stair gate which was very useful. This lovely home is in a beautiful location, tucked away so easy to unwind but everywhere you want to reach is only a quick drive away! The local woods which are a short walk up the road were stunning and Holywell became our favourite place to have an evening walk. I also would highly recommend the Smoke Shack and the The fox’s Revenge near by! It was such a wonderful holiday, with very kind welcoming hosts, but they also left us to it so we really did unwind as we wanted to. A beautiful cottage, very well equipped in a quiet location. Very good standard of cleaning, I would visit again, recommended.

Lovely Cottage in very quiet location. Very clean and comfortable

The cottage was beautifully presented throughout, it was very welcoming with fresh bed linen, a cosy feel, and all the facilities we needed! Only downside is that there's no washing machine but we knew this before we booked. The owners are absolutely lovely and completely respected our privacy for the entirety of our stay. There are some beautiful walks right on the doorstep and the whole setting was peaceful - because of the situation of the property you don't get any road noise (not that there's much traffic anyway!) And the patio isn't overlooked. Overall, a really lovely stay and the perfect getaway for a couple - dog friendly! ...
