Carnethic House is a great location in walking distance of beaches and the town. It is quiet with a well maintained garden and the added bonus of a good sized swimming pool which we enjoyed. We have visited twice and intend to return. There are lovely walks from the property. The local farm shop is only a stroll up the road and is a real find. As always Classic Cottages have been helpful.

More info on equipment provided eg hairdryer provided, but I couldn't easily find it in description. Good to know about stuff like coffee press being available. Need more up to date reviews. The lack of positive reviews made us suspicious. When I googled the property a very negative review about cleanliness kept cropping up from 2012. This was not our experience at all. The website says to contact the letting agent to see if there is any flexibility about rental dates. We did. The person we spoke to said there was no flexibility and the comment on the website was incorrect. ...
