Porthleven has been a thriving fishing port for centuries and the busy harbour is still the focal point of village life. Many an hour can be spent watching the boats sail in and out, and there are two popular pubs, one each side of the harbour. A few steps along is Porthleven beach and beyond that the infamous Loe Bar and Pool where beautiful walks can be enjoyed through the Penrose Estate. Fifteen minutes’ walk from the harbour in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, this little 1970s bungalow is set in a surprisingly spacious enclosed garden. Tubs of flowers brighten the patio in summer and hanging baskets adorn the walls. Inside is a neat and compact fitted kitchen. White walls and oatmeal carpets form a gentle background to bold Sanderson prints in the living-room and Country Manor linens in the bedrooms. There are distant sea views from the back of the bungalow and inside there is everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
