Chy-Mor is, as the name translates, a house by the sea. Set across the road from the promenade in the bustling seaside town of Penzance, this traditional terraced cottage is the perfect retreat. The south-facing enclosed garden leads to the cottage, which enjoys sea views. The sitting-room, snug, wet-room and kitchen are downstairs, along with the central dining-room with its huge dining-table – ideal for family gatherings. Upstairs are the family bathroom and three bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom fitted with a roll-top bath. The other double room has a sitting-area overlooking Mount’s Bay, with views to St Michael’s Mount and Newlyn – wonderful for storm watching as the waves crash over the seafront during an occasional squall!
