Baby friendly holidays

If you’ve got a baby or toddler, going on holiday certainly isn’t always easy. With plans to formulate and belongings to prepare, we understand that the idea of time away can be daunting to any parent. That’s why at Classic, we try and make the experience as easy and stress-free as possible.

If you’re still unsure about holidaying with baby, we’ve come up with reasons explaining why Classic holidays are perfect for you and your family to set your mind at ease.

Flexibility

With so many beautiful cottages to choose from in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, you can pick the holiday home that is exactly right for you and your little one. We cover a huge range of locations too, so whether you’re looking for a city break or an ocean retreat with beautiful sea views, you won’t be disappointed.

All of our holiday cottages are self-catering, so you’re free to structure your day around the needs of you and your baby, and not to a strict itinerary. If you’d like to show your baby the bright lights, then the Classic Guide offers a wide range of suggestions for local pubs and restaurants. However, if you’d rather avoid the communal dining experience, then you are free to enjoy the comforts of your own home away from home.

At Classic, we offer accommodation for up to 30 guests, which means that you can bring the whole family along to holiday. Alternatively, there are plenty of little boltholes and cosy retreats that will allow for the intimate family time that is so important for your baby.

Less packing, less stress

We fully appreciate that despite being small in size, babies come with a significant amount of packing. That’s why over 350 of our cottages provide a cot, high chair, and safety gate (where applicable) so that there is less work for you. Additionally, we have lots of baby friendly holiday homes that go the extra mile and provide everything down to a cot, high chair, safety gate, baby bath, bath mat, changing mat, and socket covers.

Unlike in many hotels where there often isn’t the space for your belongings and your baby’s essentials, we offer you helpfully furnished accommodation that leaves you free to enjoy your holiday experience.

Access to the splendour of the South West

The South West of England is a beautiful place, and it is never too early to being sharing it with your baby. We are gifted with spectacular scenery and stunning coastlines, quaint villages and thriving towns. Holidaying with Classic will open your eyes and give you amazing memories to share with your family.

If you’ve exhausted your own ideas of what to do or see, our Classic Guide provides a 'do-it-yourself' travel guide to Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, meaning there’s always baby-friendly fun to be had!
