7th to 14th September: Dorset Architectural Heritage Week

Discover Dorset’s cultural heritage through its rich historic built environment.



2nd week of September 

9th to 10th September: Poole Thai Festival

A two day event bringing a taste of Thailand to Poole Harbour. And yes you can get a massage.


8th to 10th September: Swanage Folk Festival

Get mixed up in the local festival of music and dance that’s been playing since 1992.


3rd week of September


 16th to 24th September: Swanage and Purbeck Walking Festival

Get out and about from coast to country and stroll from view to view.


4th week of September   

23rd September: The Dorset Do

Supporting traditional crafts in Dorset, the Dorset Do is great fun for crafters young and old.


24th September: Wessex Heavy Horse Show

See some heavy horses at this traditional country fair.


29th September to 8th October: Lyme Regis ArtsFest Unplugged

A slight change to the usual ArtsFest line up but still a wonderful celebration of the Arts in Lyme Regis.
