Inspired by Diwali, the Festival of Light brings sparkle, colour and shine to Robin Hill Country Park this November. Perfect for the Half Term school holidays, visit with little ones for a fun evening running around the park admiring the beautiful lights alongside the ancient woodland. In its 70th year, 2017’s celebration is set to be the best yet.
A classic Isle of Wight family attraction, Blackgang Chine is a great location to spend a day out during the school holidays. Now that the nights are drawing in there’s the nightly illuminations. Stay later in the park and see your favourite rides and locations lit up.
Looking for something a little different this holiday? The Isle of Wight Comic Con has everything from cosplay to panel discussions, there’s tons going on at Northwood House and Park. This inaugural event has had lots of interest from islanders and is set to be a big success.
Jayne’s vintage, retro and craft fair runs throughout the year. With a pop up vintage tea parlour and local stalls to peruse at your leisure, this is set to be a lovely event for an afternoon out at Whippingham Village Hall.
Isle of Wight producers and crafts people present their latest creations and stocking fillers at the Northwood Christmas Fair. There will be tea, coffee and light refreshments available all day, even Santa will be making an appearance for the children.
