From ice skating to a beer festival, there's more to November in Cornwall than fireworks and Christmas markets. Here is my round up of my favourite events to attend this month.
From fireworks to Christmas markets, November in Cornwall brings a whole host of festive activities to keep you warm this winter. I love the excitement of fireworks and the build up to Christmas, especially after all the fun of Halloween too. There's something so special about this time of year.
Whilst on holiday in Cornwall, find a pub with a fire to cosy up with a loved one while watching the rain or brave the outdoors and go storm watching for a completely new experience of the county's coasts. Of course, there are plenty of walks along the coast path or down to the beaches to enjoy come rain or shine. You just need a good coat and some sturdy boots. Cornwall really is a great place to make the most of the outdoors at any time of the year.
These are some of my favourite November events to visit instead of (or as well as) fireworks in Cornwall:
12th Oct - 23rd February
The Eden Project is the only place in Cornwall to have an indoor ice rink, so this is definitely somewhere to go if the weather isn't as sunny as normal.
8th - 10th
A three day blues festival in Bude featuring Fullhouse Frankie Millers Band, Wille and the Bandits and Sugaray Rayford.
The biggest and most vibrant Christmas fair is returning to The Eden Project this year.
Celebrate all things Cornish food and farming at the Winter Fair in Wadebridge this November.
Head along to Truro this November to watch the incredible procession of amazing lanterns make their way through the city. It's not your normal lanterns either!
Join St Austell Brewery in celebration of all thing beer and music.
Explore all that the county has to offer in one of our self catering cottages in Cornwall.
