Plan a short break to Dorset and make the most of the events on offer across the county this month. With the school holidays fast approaching and two bank holidays in May, you have plenty of excuses to book a break. Imagine spending your days relaxing on the Jurassic coast while the kids play in the sunshine. Take a trip with your other half and hike along the coast path, losing track of time as your chat and marvel at the views around you.
Spring is here so get all the family outside in the fresh air. Exploring the outdoors doesn’t need to be miles of walking or hardcore sea swims, try some different outdoor activities: sailing is a fun way to get on the water and might spark a new interest in little ones. There are plenty of other watersports to have a go at along the Dorset coastline. Everyone loves a bit of surfing but have you tried stand up paddleboarding or coasteering? Both great ways to get active out on the water.
