June events in Cornwall

The sun has got his hat on and we are ready for the big summer months in Cornwall. The weather tends to be at it's best in June so beat the school-attending masses and enjoy the beaches all to yourself by booking a Cornwall holiday let for June. Just don't forget your sun cream and shorts in the rush to get to your new favourite place.

June in Cornwall is warm breezes, blue skies and crashing seas. For the sun worshippers, this will be your favourite time of the year to be on the beach. A great excuse to stay in a holiday cottage with a sea view. If you'd rather be sun-drenched for the entirety of your holiday, consider a luxurious hot tub to lounge around in or choose an outdoor pool for instant cooling in the hot weather.

This month is always a busy time in Cornwall. Summer heat brings music sessions and food festivals to feast your eyes and ears on. The iconic Eden Project hosts it's wonderful Eden Sessions throughout June and July with some incredible names to look forward to this year, including Madness, Bryan Adams and many more. All here in little ol' Cornwall.

From the outset, June is looking amazing. Start planning your trip with our pick of events to keep you (incredibly) busy this month.

We love the International Sea Shanty festival in Falmouth. The atmosphere in the town crackles with energy and excitement. You'll find music at every turn and wonder how the shanties are sung with just those people on the stage, and nothing else. It really is an amazing feat. The groups that take part are incredibly talented. Definitely one not to miss.

Keep the festival going this summer with a stay in a holiday cottage in Cornwall.
