July is the peak of summer. Long, hot days and the start of the kids’ summer holidays. It’s a great time to pack up and head to the Isle of Wight for some exploring with your family. Choose a holiday home with a swimming pool as an extra way to keep the kids entertained or opt for a property with a hot tub for added luxury on a holiday with friends. Either way, there’s plenty going on across the island to keep you busy.
The Isle of Wight is steeped in summer celebrations throughout July. From sailing competitions to carnivals, there’s loads going on. Gather some friends together and head away for the weekend; less than an hour’s journey from London and you’ll be on the island, ready for your weekend adventures. Shop ‘til you drop in Newport or Cowes, walk the beaches of Bembridge and Seaview, discover the chalky white cliffs of Freshwater Bay. Add to that one of these epic events or festivals and we know you’ll have a whale of a time.
