Easter activities in Hampshire

7th and 8th April: The Mayflower Theatre presents We’re Going on a Bear Hunt

Your favourite children’s book is brought to the stage in a lively, noisy performance that will recapture the imaginations of kids big and small. 

 

8th to 23rd April: Mottisfont Cadbury Easter egg hunt

Gather your team (family) and hunt high and low around Mottisfont gardens for the Easter bunny’s clues. Unscramble the clues and win a chocolatey prize.

 

11th to 22nd April: Easter holiday activities at Exbury Gardens

With various activities and events across the Easter break, Exbury gardens and steam railway has plenty to keep kids busy while you’re on holiday. Some workshops may need to be booked in advance.

 

14th to 23rd April: Mid Hants Railway Watercress Line Day out with Thomas

Meet Thomas the Tank Engine and ride on real life steam engines this Easter holiday. With lots of steam-themed activities, this is an eggcellent day out on the Watercress Line tracks.

 

15th April: Hanger Arts Centre Easter parade

Make wacky Easter headgear, cracking egg hunt baskets and spring wreaths before the big Easter egg hunt around Hanger Farm.

 

15th to 17th April: Canoeing Easter egg hunt

Take a guided tour down the Beaulieu river and hunt for Easter treats as you go. Suitable for all ages and abilities.

 

16th to 17th April: Cadbury egg hunt at Foxbury

Escape the outside world and discover the hidden secrets of the New Forest. Take part in den building, bushcraft and chainsaw carving along with trails and a barbecue in the trees.
