Easter activities in Dorset

Find something to do on your Dorset Easter holiday with our list of family events going on across the county in April. From egg hunts to historical archery days, keep kids of all ages entertained while you enjoy some well deserved time off.

School holidays away from home make for brilliant family fun. Pack the kids up with plenty of games to play in the car and head to Dorset. Spend your break relaxing at your pretty holiday cottage, making the most of family time together or get out into the county and visit places you’ve always wanted to see. Try your hand at new things with some of the events on our list like archery or following trails through the countryside.

30th March to 15th April: Kingston Lacy Cadbury Easter egg hunt

Hunt high and low to find the clues left by the Easter bunny in the grounds of Kingston Lacy. An egg-citing extra to your visit and a great way to get the kids outside in the fresh air.

Get ready for magical Easter fun and games at Forde Abbey in Somerset. Put your courage and brains to the test as you venture through the garden with a lion, tin man, a scarecrow and Dorothy, winning yourself some sweet treats along the way.  Watch out for the Wicked Witch as you follow the yellow brick road through the grounds of Forde Abbey.
