Enjoy all the festivities this December as Hampshire brings plenty of things to do across the county.
Winter is well and truly here. Hampshire has plenty to offer up for visitors to the county in December. Christmas anticipation has begun so open up a bottle of fizz and get celebrating with your loved ones. There may be a chill in the air but if you wrap up warm a walk through the New Forest will be suitably wintery, especially with a crunchy frost or even snow on the ground. Winchester Cathedral is a magical place for gathering Christmas cheer; they have plenty of activities suitable for kids throughout December and there’s a carol concert for those who enjoy a good singalong to some classic Christmas tunes. Light up the dark nights in Hampshire with a lantern parade or the last of the Christmas markets. You’ll be sure to find some great gifts to complete the last of your Christmas shopping.
If you’re stuck for more things to do in Hampshire, why not try some Christmas crafts in your holiday cottage? Or, for the more seasoned professionals, have a crack at some festive baking or learn to cook up those Christmas leftovers to keep yourselves busy without even leaving the house.
Whatever you choose to do in Hampshire, these are some of my favourite events in the county this December:
