Fireworks night is one of the best times to get the family together and celebrate with a spectacle of light and colour.  This popular date in the winter calendar hosts an array of fantastic events throughout the county.  This year, Somerset is holding some of the best and most spectacular firework displays in the South West. So it’s the perfect time to wrap up warm and head to your nearest display for some family fun.

Grand Fireworks Display

Starting off the carnival celebrations with a bang sees the town celebrate with its Grand Firework Display.  The event starts around 3pm with a lively build up to this impressive event.  There’ll be activities and attractions including fairground rides to entertain the whole family.

Date: Friday 4th November - 7.30pm


Weston Super Mare
Grand Pier Fireworks at Sea

Experience the wonderful firework display on North Somerset’s coastline at the Grand Pier in Weston Super Mare.  The display is playfully synchronised to music offering a vibrant and exciting event for all ages.  For the best seat in the house, buy tickets to see the display right on the pier itself.

Date: Saturday 12th November - 7pm


Hatch Charity Fireworks

This year sees Taunton’s largest ever bonfire night event hosted at Taunton Racecourse.  You can expect a fantastic evening jam packed full of firework night treats including good food, great music, licensed bar, huge bonfire and not forgetting the spectacular fireworks display itself.

Date: Saturday 5th November - 5.30pm


Downend Round Table Fireworks

Bristol is home to some of the best displays in the county and this well-known Round Table event is set to be the biggest yet.  The whole family will enjoy this amazing display with proceeds of the night going to a great cause.  There’ll be plenty of great food and refreshments on site too.

Date: Friday 4th November - 5.30pm


Fireworks Spectacular

Superheroes are set to take over Yeovil Showground this year with guest appearances from Wonder Woman, Spiderman and Ironman.  The kids will love being photographed with their favourite characters whilst enjoying this lively fireworks event.  There will also be a beer tent, hot food and a fun fair providing plenty of entertainment.

Rotary Club Fireworks Display

The Rotary Club of Bath will be hosting the city’s annual fireworks display.  This beautiful location is illuminated with a dazzling display from the recreation ground and features everything you need for a fabulous family evening.
