The Magic of Miracle Theatre

It should be on everyone’s To-Do list when visiting Cornwall, book yourself tickets to a theatre performance. But not the stuffy pretentious kind, with mini-binoculars perched on nose tips, no. Treat yourself to an epic experience of the Miracle variety.

They make plays more playful, comedy more fun and drama more dramatic, not only through their clever adaptations of classics, but the wondrous outdoor settings they choose to showcase their performances. It really does add to the spectacle to be sat under the stars, and not even bad weather can dampen the spirit of the occasion.

We ventured through the undergrowth at stunning Trebah Gardens last night to catch a showing of their current production, ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’. It had the audience laughing out loud on a regular basis – always a good sign! So, we can thoroughly recommend you take a look at their tour dates and pop along – next week they are at the Minack Theatre, a venue unrivalled in its breathtaking outlook, cut into the side of a cliff.

We also have a bit of a giveaway – we’ve got ten pairs of tickets to give away for performances during July and August. You can read the Terms and Conditions here. Just email miracle@classic.co.uk by 30th June 2013, telling us which showing of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ you would like to see, and we’ll enter you into the draw.
