The Great Cornish Coast Path Run

Over ten marathons. In ten days.

The mere thought of it brings knee trembles and muscle spasms. But that is what one of our intrepid property owners is  going to push himself through to raise funds for Children's Hospice South West.

One of many obstacles

The coastline of the county of Cornwall is one of beauty, but there won't be time to stop and enjoy the views. Eyes blurred from the effort, Andy will be facing cliffside heights and lengthy valley lows before getting up the next morning to do it all over again. We think that's worth a bit of support. So we've sponsored him and our company director, Simon, will be opening the Porthleven day and is even going to run alongside him a couple of miles for moral support.

Here's a visual of this extreme feat in its entirety:

Anyone is more than welcome to run with him, for all or part of the journey, and we're hoping lots of you will at least wave him off and welcome his arrival each day at the points tagged on the map. For more details about it all have a look at The Great Cornish Coast Path Run web site, where you can also show your support through the donation of money.

It all kicks off this Friday, 20th September and all we can say is, 'good luck Andy'!

Run, Andy, run!

Stay in a holiday cottage with a sea view in Cornwall, or try Andy's cottages at Cardinham Farm.
