BIDDING HAS ENDED.
And the lucky winners of the Beach Cottage holiday auction were Mr and Mrs Coles from Hampshire!
Their bid got them this amazing four day break in Lusty Glaze for half the advertised price. We hope they have a fabulous break this weekend...
* Bidding has now closed*
That's right, bidding can be as little as a single penny for a holiday worth over £1100! We hope you'll bid a lot more than that, but at the end of the (auction) day, the winner only pays the value of their highest bid.
It's what is known as a sealed bid auction. You submit the amount you want to pay in the bidding box above. So does everyone else. No-one knows what the others have offered and at the end of the auction, the highest bidder secures the holiday. It could be an absolute bargain.
The holiday will be worth it. Four nights for four people and a dog in a unique position on the north coast of Cornwall. Lusty Glaze is a privately-owned high-sided cove with white sands, clear sea and 133 steps down to get to it. But don't worry, there is also a zip-wire to fling yourself down to reach the restaurant and adventure centre. So, if you ever tire of sitting admiring the view, there's plenty to do - you won't need to climb the cliff again until it's time to go home (unless you fancy that zip-wire again...!)

Terms & Conditions
Bidding will begin at 11am on Thursday 18th April 2013 and end at 12noon on Thursday 2nd May 2013. The auction times are BST and are final, any bids sent after this time will be disregarded.
You may submit more than one bid but your highest bid will be the one counted.
A sealed bid auction is a form of auction where bidders submit sealed bids, so that no bidder knows the bid of any other participant. When the auction closes, these bids are compared and the bidder with the highest bid wins the lot, and pays that amount for the lot. In the event of identical bids, the earliest received bid will take precedence.
All sealed bids must be made via the Bidding Form above. The successful bidder will be contacted by 5pm on Thursday 2nd May 2013 when a reservation will be placed for the property in the winning bidder's name. Payment will then become due and can be made as per our standard payment procedures. The prize is subject to our usual Booking Conditions and winners are responsible for additional costs such as travel and optional extras.
If we can't contact the winner within two days, or the winner breaks the T&Cs, we will offer the prize to the next highest bidder. We reserve the right to reject a bid for any reason, during or after the auction.
The following people are not eligible to enter the competition:
> Employees of Classic Cottages, its respective subsidiaries and associated companies including the prize supplier
> Immediate family members of Classic Cottages employees or members of their household
You have to be over 18 to enter the competition and Classic Cottages assumes that by entering the competition you have the legal capacity to do so and agree to these terms and conditions.
The name and home county of the winner will be available for one (1) month after the auction ends by sending a stamped self addressed envelope to ‘Those Lovely Marketing Girls and Boys’ at Classic Cottages.
