River ferries will take you pretty much anywhere along the River Dart from Dittisham. To get to Dartmouth via boat will take around half an hour and the journey offers some beautiful scenery to enjoy en route. Travelling by boat is something special for all the family to get excited about.

With Dartmouth to the south, you have plenty to discover using Dittisham as your base. For an exciting day out, take the water ferry across to Kingswear to see the river from a new perspective and find a new place to explore. Dittisham is directly across the river from the Greenway estate. Formerly owned by Agatha Christie, now by the National Trust, the estate is a beautiful haven of green to wander at your own pace. Perfect for a relaxing day out without the car as you can take the river ferry across directly.
