Dannett Granary
1973 is no longer with usIf you were looking for cottages like Dannett Granary, how about trying these:
Rolling farmland, hidden valleys and tree-lined rivers typify south east Cornwall. Deep in countryside, yet only a half-hour’s drive from the coast, Dannett is a real treat. The Owners, who farm cattle and sheep, live on the far side of the courtyard adjoining Dannett Stable (1535) but guests are quite private as Dannett Granary faces the other way. As well as its own covered patio and play-area there is a games-room shared with guests at Dannett Stable, down steps away from the properties. Guests are welcome to enjoy woodland walks, fishing in the ponds (take care with children) and the games-room. There are three donkeys, a miniature pony, and the Owners are happy to take children when feeding other animals. Close to Looe and the Eden Project, Dannett Granary offers a warm welcome. The barn has been renovated to provide a beautiful, remarkably spacious home. There is an enormous kitchen/diner and the sitting-room has a minstrels’ gallery running along one wall. Two bedrooms are downstairs whilst the remaining two bedrooms, one of which is huge, are upstairs. The property has a private water supply (tested regularly) and the second cot is a travel cot.
