A quintessential cosy Cornish cottage with a secret garden is the perfect escape from day to day life. This gorgeous property is filled with lovely features and is beautifully decorated ensuring that you feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the front door.
The thoughtfully designed open plan living space is airy and light and is an appealing and comfortable space. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you might need including a pretty French dresser full of Cornish earthenware for you to use. The kitchen table is ideal for any meal or perhaps a game or two – making it a very sociable space. Enjoy snuggling down in front of the cosy wood-burner on a cooler day or perhaps after a day out exploring this magical part of Cornwall – it is just a lovely spot to put those feet up.
Upstairs you will find two charming bedrooms and the family bathroom; the bedrooms are decorated in calming tones for that relaxing deep sleep. The master bedroom is very tranquil at the back of the property and the second bedroom is at the front with a single bed and a bespoke cabin bed, which is perfect for a younger member of the family.
The semi-detached cottage has a patio at the front of the property, which enjoys sheltered sunshine, where you can watch village life pass you by and you can see The Royal Oak, which is only a stone's throw away. Discover the secret garden by the stream, tucked away down a path (shared with next door), this peaceful and private garden is fun for games, perhaps an evening drink or a leisurely lunch. There is also a handy shed to store bikes, kayaks or paddleboards.
You can enjoy a car-free holiday with the local train service to Falmouth and Truro, or take the bus to explore further afield as there are many places to enjoy discovering by car in this delightful corner of the county.
