The village of Constantine stands on a branch of the Helford River; there is a pub, a couple of village stores, and a short walk away you will find Merrivale Barn, a detached reverse level cottage made for two. Renovated to the highest standard, stylish, comfortable and completely separate from the Owners’ property next door, this is a little gem of a cottage ideally located for exploring this unspoilt part of Cornwall. Whether you like to visit beautiful gardens, enjoy exploring the ruggedness of the Lizard peninsula or spending time in the maritime town of Falmouth or Cathedral City of Truro, your memories of a great holiday at Merrivale Barn are likely to stay with you for a long time.
Set close to the village but even closer to the very popular Potager Garden and Glasshouse Cafe, where they serve breakfast, lunch, tea and cake all day! (open February to October) this lovely cottage makes a great base to return to at any time of the year. Constantine’s pretty village is situated on a hill with a very attractive church at its centre and is one of those few remaining places with an authentic Cornish feel about it which is so hard to find these days. Woodland walks, an arts centre with a variety of events and a well-stocked village store, with one of the largest whisky selection you will ever see, are right on your doorstep.
